I have a plugin for MT4 that I use for cross-platform communication that I can send along if you like. It's just a standard DLL that takes a name and has dummy slots that are then synced on the other side. ip/port specified by external config file.

Breakout Trading Strategy
Hello forum, good day.
I'm still new to trading and MQL. I'm starting to make a Breakout EA and have a few questions regarding this trading strategy. Your help will be much appreciated!
1. What is the best number of bars to look back in order to determine the Support and Resistance levels? Or what is the best method to determine this highest/lowest levels for the breakout range?
2. How many points should be considered in order to get the Support, Resistance and trend lines? I guess that for the Support and Resistance with 1 point is enough, but don't know if for the trend lines I should use 2 or 3.
3. What indicators could be used in order to detect false breakouts? I've seen there is a Box Breakout indicator that uses a 5 pip range or so on top/bottom of the Resistance/Support. Is this enough to prevent false breakouts? Should I wait to see if the previous bar closes on top/bottom of the Resistance/Support to place an order?
4. Should this strategy be used with Market or Stop Orders? Or it doesn't matter which one is used?
5. What is the best timeframe for this strategy? I've seen one of the most used is H1.
6. What other signal could be used to close a trade besides the price breaking a trend line?

FFCalendar 2015 Updated - Unicode Support - Times Corrected
I like the FFCalendar indicator and had a difficult time finding updated source that worked on new Metatrader builds.
This is MT4 compatible. I'm not sure about MT5 but the cohesion of scripting might have it working there too.
If I'm posting this in the wrong section let me know.
*** Fixes ***
- The TimeGMT() function is now a native function and conflicted with the custom implementation of it. No biggie, just renamed it.
- Original source could no longer fetch the web pages. This was a problem with ANSI calls to the web fetching DLLs where the new scripting updates were trying to send Unicode strings. I wrapped the internal functions to handle the string conversions in both ways to make that happy.
- Indicator would display blank news entries if you got beyond the download problem. This was a result of FileReadString() command which now does not tolerate having a value larger than that of the actual file. The read size was set correctly and we had news entries.
- The time of the news entries was helter-skelter. News 13 hours apart were showing a bizarre 9 hour gap. This happened to be because the update to the scripting engine changed the precedent of the && and || conditional operators which messed up the internal logic of the "am" and "pm" checks in the original indicator.

I didn't add my credentials or anything to the header of this. I am just getting my own projects up and running and this was something I personally wanted working correctly. It took 3-5 hours to fix this up and figured I'd save the rest of you the annoyance.

One-Week Freeze of Earned Funds Enabled in Market and Freelance

Not sure how it works in other parts of the world, but here in the U.S., if you are not an account holder at a bank, they have fees and possible holds when cashing a check, and even if you DO have an account with them, and the check (cheque) is from a company or person that you have not yet done business with yet, the bank will put a hold of varying time depending on the bank's policies on you being able to get those funds. This looks like something similar is all, and since it is to help prevent people scamming, while an inconvenience, I think it will end up being helpful in the long run.
i just finish my job. a little good news, now it is locked only for 5 days.. :-)

where 60 is the 60 seconds position. If you want to open a position of 5min, for exemple, you must use 300 instead of 60. And of course, you must give expirations which match with the ones in your MT4 BO broker.

If compared with the crossing the street,,,, in my city, I have to be more extra careful.
After looking left & right, we also have to be careful with the motorcycle. sometimes it doesn't seen yet but we can heard the engine voice, so that makes us have to stop on the middle way and convince ourselves that the bikers have seen us crosing street and he will stop.
Same with forex, before we make order/open position, we have to look at the probability of the trend going, and how the conditions of the price against Resistance-Support.
After OP, we also must be able to take decision, whether we will close the order as soon as possible when the price moves against the trend turns (before hit SL),, or let it hit TP and make nice profit.

Thank you for sharing this concept and code.
I was looking for a panel to complement my EA, but with the binary wave I got much more information and can use the weigth to better filter my EA results.
My code is probably messed, since I migrated from EA to indicator, and now I think the indicator can be used in a simpler EA.

This indicator does not work, because the style of the writing of the file annualof.txt changed by CFTC. I made new version of the indicator and gave to the moderator for the checking. New version will not contain the function, which I showed.
